Attorney Royce Saalfield received his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at the University of Florida, and upon graduating worked at a local Gainesville law firm for several years. Mr. Saalfield then attended law school at Western New England University School of Law, during which time he also completed coursework at Vermont Law School. Upon graduating law school in 2001, Mr. Saalfield returned to his home state of Florida where he served as an Assistant Public Defender in the Fourth Judicial Circuit.Although the majority of Mr. Saalfield’s career has been the practice of criminal law, both in the public and private sector, he did take a hiatus to work as in-house legal counsel for a Fortune 500 Company. As criminal law is Mr. Saalfield’s true passion, he returned to the Public Defender’s Office where he could again vigorously and passionately represent those accused of crimes ranging from minor misdemeanors to attempted murder. Mr. Saalfield would be honored to apply his passion for criminal defense and extensive experience to your particular case.
