The resident who woke up to hear the intruder in his house soon discovered that his vehicle and the vehicle of another resident in the area had been burglarized. Deputies were heading out to the area when they were able to stop the men suspected of the crime, identified as 28-year-old Alfredo Somarriba and 34-year-old Yoandy Mora Perez.
The resident who called police spoke with them and told them that the intruder left his home, which is when he grabbed his gun and searched his home before he saw a red car with headlights turned off fleeing the scene.
Some of the items that were stolen included credit cards, tools, keys, and one of the resident’s driver’s license.
At this time, both of the men were arrested and sent to jail.
