Jupiter, FL – Man Kicked in the Head, Another Charged for Battery

Jupiter, FL (November 15, 2018) – In the 4700 block of Main Street in Jupiter, police reported that an umpire was pushed to the ground and kicked in the head by another party after he called a player safe at second base. One person was arrested.

Spectators, players, and the president of the league said that one of the players kicked the umpire in the head and were able to identify him. However, nobody was willing to cooperate at first.

Battery charges resulted from the case. The manager told the team that they will not play unless the suspect was identified. At this time, police continue to investigate.
