Newman must complete 12 hours of anger management and have no violent contact with his 41-year-old daughter, Susan Newman. The incident happened after he held his daughter’s face and spit at her when they were involved in an argument. Newman told police that she was frustrating him and that he believes she was using drugs.
Charles Newman said that he has been feeling anguish because his daughter was living with him with her 8-year-old son and even tried to gain custody of his grandson.
