The woman was identified as 31-year-old Rebecca Phelps. Phelps had been busted for battering a man 14 months before that incident as well, according to records. On Thursday night, Thanksgiving, the suspect entered the room and demanded that the victim have sex with her. Phelps was intoxicated and took action by scratching the victim on his left eye, causing it to swell and turn black and blue.
Phelps was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery. Phelps is now supposed to have no contact with the victim.
