Tallahassee, FL – Florida State Student Charged with Selling Drugs from Dorm Room

Tallahassee, FL (April 13, 2019) – An 18-year-old student at Florida State University was arrested by campus police on charges that he was selling drugs from his dorm room. The arrest took place on Thursday, April 11th.

FSU police received information from a source stating that Harding was selling drugs out of his room in the Deviney Hall dorm on Woodward Avenue. After receiving the tip, police conducted a controlled purchase by having the informant go to Harding’s room to purchase marijuana and THC cartridges. A second purchase was made in early April where the informant was able to again buy marijuana and THC from Harding. Police recorded all interactions between Harding and the informant.

Harding has officially been charged with more than 40 crimes related to the use and possession of narcotics. No information was released regarding his bond or whether he remains in custody at this time.

Another controlled purchase was conducted the first week of April and a cooperating source again bought pot and THC cartridges from Harding in his dorm room. The interactions were recorded and seven days later he was arrested.
