Tampa, FL (July 12, 2019) – 37-year-old Jennifer Lee Chapman allegedly turned a blade on her boyfriend after he refused to have sex with her, leading to aggravated battery charges.
Chapman’s live-in boyfriend told her that he was too tired for sex, which caused her to grab a serrated kitchen knife and cut her own arm. The boyfriend attempted to stop her, which led to a threatening physical confrontation between the two. The two landed on the floor during this dispute, which is when Chapman grabbed the knife and stabbed the boyfriend multiple times in his arm and shoulder.
Chapman also allegedly head-butted her boyfriend and then punched him in the face. When deputies investigated, they found the victim with stab wounds and injuries to his face.
Police believe that this will be a probation violation for Chapman and she remains in prison at this time.
