Jacksonville, FL – Man Accused of Stabbing Another Man Charged with Assault

Jacksonville, FL (March 8, 2019) – Police say that 48-year-old David Hunt was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon and inflicting serious injury in another person. Hunt, of Red Springs, is accused of the assault on a man from Rowland while they were in Jacksonville.

Hunt has been accused of assaulting the man with a knife and causing serious injury, according to warrants. Police investigated and the investigation led to the arrest of David Hunt. Police are not sure what the two men were doing in Jacksonville.

Hunt was placed under a $50,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court.

Police are not sure of the circumstances leading up to the stabbing. Hunt has also been convicted of misdemeanor resisting a public officer.

At this time, police continue their investigation into the incident.
