John Stevenson graduated from Florida State University College of Law in 2011, where he interned with both the Leon County State Attorney’s Office and Public Defender’s Office. After graduation, he served for a year as a Misdemeanor prosecutor with the State Attorney’s Office in Lake County. For the next six years, John was a felony defense attorney with the Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel. During that time, he tried over thirty cases for charges such as Attempted Murder, Sexual Battery, Kidnapping, and others. He also represented countless other clients, negotiating with prosecutors and judges to arrive at the best resolution without taking the cases to trial.
John is passionate about criminal defense and the need for every client to be given aggressive representation. He also understands that different cases require different approaches. He enjoys working with the client, listening to their side of the story, and finding the defense to fit the case. He looks forward to working on your case with the goal of receiving the best possible outcome.
