The Charges

Our client who was driving a motorcycle and had been pulled over for an improper lane change and almost running a police officer off of the road. Upon making contact with the driver, the officer detected the moderate odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the driver’s facial area. The officer further observed that the driver’s eyes were bloodshot red, glassy, and that his pupils were dilated. When asked to step out of the vehicle, it was noticed that our client had a sway to his stance as he stood. The officer then asked if our client would consent to field sobriety exercises, which he agreed to. After performing the field exercises and failing, our client was arrested and charged with driving under the influence *DUI).
