A native of Lexington, South Carolina, Joe Werner earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics from Wofford College in 2000. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in December 2002. During his legal studies, he broadened his global legal perspective by spending a semester abroad at University College London, where he studied Evidence and European Union Law—an experience that continues to inform his meticulous approach to legal analysis and procedure.
