NORTH NAPLES, FL - Sept 2, 2020 - According to an online news report from nbc-2.com, a man was arrested in Naples for allegedly stabbing two people on Thursday. Collier County deputies were called out to a stabbing at a residence located on Noble Court in Naples, Florida. The call was at approximately 6:30 in the evening. Several Collier County deputies attended to the victim who had a stab wound in their back. The victim was found on the ground outside of the house.

Collier County deputies conversed with the homeowner, who told the officers that he saw the stabbing and that the suspect may be inside of his house. The Collier County deputies created a perimeter around the house.

According to the witness, the suspect came over to his house at approximately 4 p.m. The victim, the homeowner, and the suspect were drinking alcohol and were chatting. The victim allegedly upset the upset, and the suspect began getting angry and yelling. The suspect then allegedly opened a kitchen drawer and pulled out a bread knife that had a wooden handle on the knife. The suspect then stabbed the victim in the back, and then the suspect lurched at the homeowner, and then the victim and the homeowner ran out of the house in order to escape further injuries.

The Collier County deputies stated that they searched the home looking for the suspect and reported that the suspect's house was clear of the suspect. Investigators saw drops of blood outside of the house, along with three knives, and one of the knives had a wooden handle. These items were discovered in the rear pool porch area. The Collier County deputies also found a phone on an outside table, and the phone had the suspect's name on the phone when the phone lit up. In the garage, the Collier County deputies found a white Mercedes Benz. The Mercedes Benz had drops of blood inside the car.

At approximately 12:45 in the morning on Friday, the homeowner contacted the Collier County Sheriff's Office and reported to the Sheriff's deputies that he spotted the suspect outside of his home. The victim and the homeowner stated that they witnessed the suspect in the pool. The Collier County Sheriff's Office responded to the call and requested a K9 Unit, and an Aviation Unit and K9 Unit. The suspect was found, and he was arrest at the end of Noble Court.

The suspect was apprehended, arrested, and charged with several violent criminal charges, including aggravated assault, resisting law enforcement officers without violence, and aggravated battery using a deadly weapon. The news report also states that the Collier County Sheriff's Office discovered the suspect is also a person of interest in another stabbing attack that happened earlier that day in Lee County, Florida. The news report did not report any further details about the criminal charges, where the suspect was processed and booked, or the date of the suspect's hearing.
