FORT WALTON BEACH, FL - Seven individuals were arrest on Thursday after the individuals were caught during the service of search warrants. The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office Multi-Agency Drug Task Force served the two search warrants, which led to the arrests. The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office Multi-Agency Drug Task Force includes the Crestview and Fort Walton Beach police departments.

One of the search warrants was served at the Motel Six, located on U.S. Highway 98 in Destin, Florida. According to a press release from the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office, the 34-year-old man who was arrested had several arrest warrants for various crimes such as illegal use of a credit card, theft, and failure to appear in court. The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office Multi-Agency Drug Task Force was found in possession of approximately 7 grams of methamphetamine. In addition to the methamphetamines, law enforcement task force members discovered glass pipes, heroin, a digital scale, and plastic baggies, which are associated with drug dealing.

Another suspect was arrested. The 42-year-old Santa Rosa Beach man was caught possessing two plastic baggies containing syringes and methamphetamines.

According to the news report, there were another two men who pulled their pickup truck to the motel room, and they were arrested. The men pulled up in the pickup truck just before agents served the search warrants. The first suspect, a 34-year-old from Michigan, walked into the motel room. Then the drug task force members discovered the man in possession of heroin. The same man stated that the methamphetamine found in his truck was his. The male passenger who was waiting in the pickup truck and who didn't enter the searched motel room, a 40-year-old man from Santa Rosa Beach, was found in possession of a cigarette pack that hid a bad of methamphetamines.

The four male suspects were placed under arrest, and they were all charged with possession of a controlled substance and other criminal charges. One suspect was arrested and charged with possession of heroin with intent to sell.

The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office Multi-Agency Drug Task Force members also served a search warrant at a house located on Aurora Drive in Crestview, Florida. The 52-year old suspect was found in possession of glass smoking devices and a Methamphetamines inside the woman's bedroom. The woman was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.

In another arrest, as part of the search warrant service at the Crestview, Florida home, a 19-year-old was found in marijuana possession and drug paraphernalia. The 19-year-old was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of more than 20 grams of marijuana. The last suspect arrested, a 33-year-old woman, was caught in possession of a hypodermic syringe and three grams of methamphetamines. The woman was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamines.

The seven arrests on Thursday performed by the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office Multi-Agency Drug Task Force was considered a success.
