Dunnellon, FL (November 14, 2018) – A 17-year-old student has been arrested in Marion County after the student committed sexual assault on another student at the Dunnellon High School. The incident took place on Friday, according to investigating police.

The 17-year-old, whose name has not been released, is accused of trying to force a 16-year-old girl into a sex act while they were on their way to their classrooms. Now, the 17-year-old is facing sexual assault charges.

School officials said that the student will probably be removed from the school and placed in a different school.
