JACKSONVILLE, FL - May 19, 2020 - According to an online news report published on the news website News4Jax.com, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office reported that their deputies arrested a woman who allegedly shot two people. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office also stated that one of the shooting victims was severe, and the second victim had "non-life threatening injuries." The suspect also turned the gun on herself and shot herself. The shooting occurred on Sunday at approximately 5 a.m. at home located on Golden Eagle Drive, in the Eagles Hammock neighborhood. According to the news report, when law enforcement arrived at and entered the house, the officers discovered three individuals who sustained gunshot wounds.

Criminal investigators stated that they think the women shot the other two shooting victims who were all located inside the home. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office also stated that it appeared to its investigators that the woman turned the gun on herself. They thought the woman tried to commit suicide. The 48-year-old Jacksonville woman and the two shooting victims survived their gunshot wounds. One of the victims is being described as a family member.
