Seminole, FL (December 7, 2018) – The Sheriff's Department in Pinellas County has arrested a man that is now facing 10 counts of possessing child pornography following an investigation into his online activity.
The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office got information about a person who was believed to be in possession of child pornography. The sheriff's office started an investigation into the accusations and after more than a year of investigation into the matter, deputies finally made an arrest of 44-year-old Paul Marceau of Valencia Avenue.
Detectives were able to recover images depicting child pornography from a personal home computer. Marceau admitted he had the ability to access and skill required to download illegal movies on his computer. He did not mention anything about downloading child pornography in his interrogation. It was at that time that Marceau decided that it was in his best interest to discontinue speaking with authorities.
Marceau was arrested at his home and transported to jail.
