Tarpon Springs, FL (November 13, 2018) – Currently, police have a Tarpon Springs man in custody ever since he told police officers this morning, November 13, that he shot his father in a domestic dispute.

The 25-year-old man, whose name has not yet been released, called 911 around 1 a.m. this morning to tell them that he shot his father in the area of Lonesome Pine Lane at their home. Police found the 68-year-old man deceased at the scene when they arrived on the third floor in a bedroom.

Police say that the man and his father were alone in the house at the time of the incident. The shooting is now being treated as a domestic homicide.
