Miami, FL (July 16, 2019) – Police confirmed that 21-year-old Gabrielle Nunez threatened her baby’s father with a knife and told him she would kill him after they finished having sex.

Allegedly, the incident took place at their high-rise apartment. Now, Nunez is facing charges of attempted murder and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

Miami Police were initially called to the scene of the incident where they found that the two had been engaged in a fight. When officers arrived, they found the baby’s father sitting on top of Nunez. He told deputies that he and Nunez just finished having sex and Nunez was asleep.

However, the man’s girlfriend called from California and Nunez answered his cell phone. Nunez and the man became engaged in an argument because she found out she wasn’t supposed to be at the apartment.

Nunez put their 11-month-old baby in a stroller, grabbed a large knife from the kitchen, and began chasing the man into the bedroom.

The man was able to lock himself in the bathroom, but Nunez continued to stab the door and was yelling at the man, telling him that she would kill him. She was able to get inside the bathroom but the man was able to twist the knife out of her hand and tossed it out of her reach. He was then able to get on top of Nunez to restrain her until police arrived.

Nunez was taken to jail and held without bond.
