West Palm Beach, FL (November 12, 2018) – In West Palm Beach, one man lost his life and another was seriously injured in a double shooting on Saturday. November 10. The incident occurred around 10:31 p.m. at the 600 block of Ninth Street.

The two men were shot while they were attending a block party. When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered that one man had been shot and died from his injuries. The man was identified as 35-year-old Joey Demeritus Canady. Another man with non-life-threatening injuries was located by police at a local hospital.

Police are now taking a closer look at the case and working with those involved so that they may locate the armed and potentially violent individual. No names have been released.
