According to the Miami Herald: 5 girls, ages 7 to 10, came to the Coral Springs police because their gymnastics teacher Leonardo Suarez Alverez was reportedly touching them inappropriately. According to the report, he repeatedly touched the girls in the chest even while being asked and told to stop by the girls. Apparently, the gym owner had to make Alvarez stop. Alvarez was volunteering at the gymnastics center that is owned by his twin sisters (Maria del Carmen Suarez, and Maria Elena Suarez). 52-year-old Leonardo is currently sitting behind bars at the Broward County Main Jail on 5 separate counts of lewd and lascivious behavior on a victim under 12.
