PENSACOLA, FL - According to a news report on pnj.com, the Escambia County Sheriff's Office deputies announced that they arrested one of the two suspects wanted for allegedly shooting two brothers. The news report states that one of the victims was injured, and the other was fatally wounded in the attack. The suspect who was arrested, a 39-year-old man from Pensacola, Florida, was apprehended, arrested, and charged with the murder of one victim and the shooting of the other victim. 

The suspect has been charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and second-degree murder. He was booked into the Escambia County Jail and is being held without the possibility of bonding out. The suspect's accomplice, a 33-year-old man, remains at-large, according to an Escambia County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman. The second suspect is wanted on criminal charges of aggravated battery and second-degree murder in connection with the shooting.

According to the suspect's arrest report, Escambia County Sheriff's deputies responded to a call at around 11:30 p.m. The caller stated that there were multiple gunshots that occurred around the area of Deerwood Road and Dover Avenue. 

Escambia County Sheriff's deputies found the victim's body in the driveway of a home located in Buckingham Road's 2700 block. A pistol was found on the ground near the victim's body. The victim's brother was spotted sitting on the ground near his brother, and the man sustained several gunshot wounds. The man told the Escambia County Sheriff's deputies before he lost consciousness that he was shot. The victim was transported to a hospital and was listed in critical medical condition.

One eyewitness to the attack stated that several people and the two brothers were celebrating someone's birthday inside the residence at Buckingham Road prior to the shooting. Then as the party continued, the two brothers started to argue with a man who was identified as one of the suspects. The group took the argument outside. A few moments later, the witness stated that they heard gunshots outside the house.

The news report states that another witness stated to the Escambia County Sheriff's deputies that they witnessed the two suspects shooting at the brothers in front of the residence.
