Lee County, FL (November 19, 2018) - Saturday evening in Lee County, Floridians saw the arrest of one Elwood Timothy Robinson, a 46-year-old man. Robinson is currently accused of impersonating a police officer and luring, shooting, and killing two teenage young men and wounding another teenage girl.
The two teenagers that lost their lives in this incident have been identified by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office as William Hughes, 19, and Jeremy Stewart, 16. According to reports, Robinson identified himself as a police officer to the two young men and lured them to a wooded area that is located next to a cow pasture in Olga, Florida. The two boys were fatally shot and died from their wounds, and a third female teenager was shot through her hand. Her injuries are considered non-life threatening and she is expected to make a full physical recovery.
At this point, according to jail records, Robinson has been charged with two counts of second-degree murder, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, and impersonating a police officer.
