Marion County, FL – Summerfield Woman Arrested for Choking Man
November 12, 2018
Marion County, FL (November 12, 2018) – In Marion County, deputies were called to investigate a scene where a Summerfield woman was arrested for choking a man. The incident took place late Wednesday night, November 7.
The man who had been choked claimed that he arrived home from work that evening, which is when 23-year-old Kattyria Vidal started arguing with him. He attempted to go through her phone, which is when she became physically aggressive with him. She wrapped her hands around his neck until he started feeling weak. The deputy at the scene said that there were visible red marks on both sides of the man’s beck.
Vidal did not show any signs of injury when deputies went to arrest her. She was accused of domestic battery by strangulation and taken to prison.
