Osceola County, FL (December 13, 2018) – A from La Puente, California was arrested by the Los Angeles County Sherriff's Department on charges of extortion, enticing and directing a minor into a sexual performance and stalking.  His arrest in California allowed for his extradition to the Osceola County Jail where he is currently being held on a $40k bond. 

Investigators say that 19-year-old Saul Pacheco who went by the name “Carmen” on the Kik app that he used.  While on the app, Pacheco started talking to a 13-year-old girl in Kissimmee, Florida.  He used a picture of the girl and photoshopped the child's face on nude photos of other women and told her that if she didn’t send actual nude pictures of herself to him that he would send the photoshopped pictures to her family members.

The young girl was frightened and complied with his request.  She then notified family members who told Pachecho that she had passed away in order to get him to stop reaching out to the girl.

Approximately two years later, Pacheco discovered that the young girl was in fact, still alive.   He began messaging her again and demanding more nude photos.   This time,  the girl’s grandmother called deputies to file a complaint, which is when police were able to track his IP address to his Los Angeles address.

Pacheco has been extradited to Florida where the crime took place and is facing charges of stalking, extortion, and directing a sexual performance of a child.
