As reported by the Miami Herald: Deputy Kurt Castaldo of the Palm Beach Sheriff Department was arrested the day after his 46th birthday for several child pornography-related crimes. The crimes he is charged with include:
- Five counts of possession of child pornography
- One count of transmitting child pornography
- One count of promoting a sexual performance by a child
- And one count of using a two-way radio device to facilitate a felony
"Post Miranda (warning), Castaldo admitted to having an interest in child pornography for approximately the last 20 years and admitted to actively searching for child pornography on the internet, using his iPhone." - The Probable Cause Affidavit
