Spring Hill, FL (December 7, 2018) – A Florida man was arrested for shoplifting following a job interview at a Kohl’s department store.

The incident happened on the afternoon of December 5.   Dominick Breedlove arrived at the Kohl's department store at 3:20 pm for his scheduled job interview.  He headed directly to the HR Department to meet with the interviewer.  When the interview was over, Breedlove browsed around the store and ended up in the shoe department where he found and took a pair of Nike tennis shoes without a security device attached.   That's when loss prevention security staff watched him exit the store and go to his vehicle.  They witnessed him take a used Kohl's bag out of his car, put the shoes in the bag and proceeded back inside the store and headed to the customer service checkout line. The line was so long that Breedlove seemed to become discouraged.  He walked back to the shoe section and proceeded to take a second pair of shoes and place them in his bag at which time he vacated Kohls and was apprehended by security for the store.  The police were called to the store to arrest Breedlove.  They found him with a women’s pair of Nikes valued at $80 and another pair of shoes valued at $70.

Breedlove did not receive the job at the store.
