Tallahassee, FL (February 11, 2019) – Police arrested 43-year-old Jonathan Callahan after he was caught sharing child pornography on his personal Tumblr blog. Callahan was arrested on 14 counts related to child pornography and promotion of child pornography. Investigators say that he has since bonded out.

The charges came after the police department received a tip in December of last year from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that somebody had uploaded multiple forms of child pornography onto their blog. When they traced the email, it led back to Callahan. Police issued a warrant for his arrest but he was away on business and wasn't expected to return until February 2.

Authorities eventually caught up with Callahan, where they then seized two more cellphones and a laptop. Callahan acknowledged that the child pornography they discovered belonged to him and claimed that while he didn’t upload many pictures himself, he did reblog several images.

Now, Callahan is being charged with one count of possession of child pornography, 13 counts of child pornography from his personal email, and other related charges.
