Tallahassee, FL (February 19, 2019) - Police officers in Tallahassee arrested a woman on driving under the influence charges after she crashed her vehicle into a police car while driving drunk.

The incident took place on Wednesday night, according to police. Two officers were investigating a previous crash and had their emergency lights activated. The officers were standing outside of their vehicle when another car struck theirs, which then slammed into the officers.

The officers were both injured and taken to the hospital for treatment.

The driver of the vehicle that struck them was identified as 36-year-old Paige Gruzlewski, who was arrested on three counts of DUI with damage to property.
