Michelle L. Slanker

Michelle L. Slanker received her Juris Doctor degree from the Mississippi College School of Law in Jackson, Mississippi in 1999 and returned to Florida where she began her legal career at the Office of the State Attorney.

She has over 20 years of experience in dealing with the handling of juvenile, misdemeanor cases and felony cases. Ms. Slanker has handled high-profile cases as an Assistant State Attorney and as a criminal defense attorney. 

During her time as an Assistant State Attorney, Ms. Slanker was lead counsel on many serious felony cases included but not limited to Armed Home Invasion, Armed Robberies, Burglaries, homicide, sex cases, violations of probations, as well as many other charges.

Ms. Slanker feels that having previously been an Assistant State Attorney assists her in being able to help her clients navigate the justice system.  She works hard to ensure that not only are her clients rights protected but that they receive zealous representation at all stages in their criminal case.
