Lady Lake, FL (January 9, 2019) – A woman from Lady Lake was arrested on a drunk driving charge after being involved in a hit-and-run accident on Monday afternoon of this week.

26-year-old Courtney Lynn Ducat was arrested after she was driving her white Ford station wagon while intoxicated. Police discovered that it was the same vehicle that matched a description of one that had been involved in a hit-and-run crash earlier. The officer pulled her over and noticed right away that Ducat was intoxicated due to bloodshot eyes and the smell of alcohol.

Ducat stumbled and lost her balance during the field sobriety tests that the police gave her. She then told police that she couldn’t finish and so they decided to take her to the station. In the back of the patrol car, police say that she vomited several times.

Ducat has since been arrested on driving under the influence and was booked in jail.
