ORANGE COUNTY, FLORIDA - A news story posted on wesh.com, a man was arrested and criminally charged with shooting a co-worker inside a motor vehicle in Orange County, Florida. According to Orange County Sheriff's Office law enforcement investigators, the victim's co-worker, a 41-year-old man, was arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder.

According to the news report, the shooting occurred on Chancellor Drive close to the Orlando Central Parkway last Tuesday morning. Just before 4 in the morning, law enforcement officials stated a co-worker was following the 34-year-old victim as they were leaving work. The victim stated that the suspect was an individual with whom he had "had an ongoing problem," the news report stated.

The victim explained to law enforcement investigators that he heard gunshots and was also shot while in his vehicle. The victim then drove to a Publix shopping center located at Americana Boulevard and South John Young Parkway, where he started to call his co-workers and family. The people the victim called placed calls into 911.

Law enforcement officers with the Orlando Police Department first responded to the Publix shopping center. According to the arrest report, the incident happened in unincorporated Orange County, Florida. The victim was taken to the Orlando Regional Medical Center. Law enforcement officers are currently investigating the shooting incident. There were no further reports published. No other incident information has been released at this time.
