Miami, FL (June 11, 2019) – 18-year-old Jaquavius Matthews, who had recently been arrested following a shooting, has now been arrested on charges for his second fatal shooting.

The incident took place at the Honey Hill Mobile Home Park on Northwest 199th Street on March 23. The victim, identified as 27-year-old Shelsy Medina, pulled her truck into the parking lot near the mobile home where she lived. Detectives found that Medina had been shot at close range. Authorities are not sure of a motive for the shooting at this time, though Matthews has confessed.
