New Port Richey, FL (April 18, 2019) – In New Port Richey, 18-year-old Michael Anthony Corley was arrested after domestic violence stemming from an internet challenge.

Corley was allegedly participating in a Facebook challenge where, if he received 300 comments from Facebook friends, he would crack an egg over his mother.

Later, Corley reached the 300 comments needed and then proceeded to crack the egg over his mother’s head. In response, she slapped him across the back of the head. Deputies say Corley then grabbed his mother by her shirt and threw her onto the dining room table.

Corley has since been arrested for domestic battery and taken to the Land O Lakes jail.
