As reported by the Sun-Sentinel: On Monday Jason Nebergall was placed on house arrest and was released on $100,000 bail for being convicted of an attempted rape. The specific crimes he was trying to illegitimize were a conviction of sexual battery while in possession of a weapon, and of misdemeanor battery. According to the victim, Nebergall was one of 3 deputies that responded to her police call at 5 am on July 21, 2016, because of a dispute between the victim and her landlord. After the situation had been resolved, she says that Nebergall returned, alone, and forcibly kissed her and touched one of her breasts. Nebergall declined these crimes, saying that the woman exposed her breasts and "leaned into my personal space. I pushed her back." - Jason Nebergall. Nebergall is currently released (under house arrest) on a $100,000 bail bond.
