Tallahassee, FL (December 15, 2018) - A mother and a son were arrested on numerous drug charges following a traffic stop on Tuesday, December 11th.  Around 1:37 pm, deputies with the Leon County Sheriff's Department conducted a traffic stop on a Ford F-150 at Commonwealth Boulevard.

As deputies spoke with the driver, they noted that a passenger in the truck opened the door and attempted to exit the vehicle.  Deputies were able to stop the woman and question her.  At that time, small container of meth was spotted in plain view inside the truck.  The woman then gave the container to the deputies and said "Yeah it's meth in there."

The woman, identified as 67-year-old Wanda Pyles, then pulled from her bra a plastic beg containing more meth.  Wanda then went on to say that her son, 48-year-old Anthony Pyles, was involved in "bad stuff."  Anthony Pyles was the driver of the F-150 when it was pulled over.

Anthony refused to speak to police without an attorney present.  A search of the truck then turned up two plastic bags of marijuana. Both Anthony and Wanda were arrested and are facing numerous drug-related charges.  They were taken to the Leon County Detention Facility.
