Wildwood, FL (November 13, 2018) – A Michigan man was arrested by police after he attacked a sleeping trucker over a parking spot dispute in Wildwood, which is in close proximity to Orlando, Melbourne, and many other popular cities in Florida.

The trucker had been sleeping in his rig on Sunday night, November 11, when 51-year-old Brian Cozzie of Michigan began banging on the side of the truck. He ordered the trucker to move. The trucker was utilizing two spaces and said that he was not going to move, then closed his window as to not be disturbed.

Cozzie smashed open the trucker’s window and reached for what might have been a gun in his waistband. The trucker had his own gun and fired a round into the air.

Cozzie received charges of third-degree felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and is booked on a bond in jail.
