ORLANDO, FLORIDA - A news report posted on orlandosentinel.com states that a 26-year-old man is now facing a first-degree felony murder charge in the deadly 7-Eleven shooting. The victim, a 30-year-old man, was shot last Saturday at a 7-Eleven located on Orange Blossom Trail in Orlando, Florida.

The suspect is being held, without bond, at the Orange County Jail, the news article reports.

According to the Orlando Police, officers arrived at the 7-Eleven parking lot at approximately 9:15 last Saturday night. Orlando Police officers detained the suspect who would later be charged with homicide. Moments later, the Orlando Police stated that the 30-year-old victim was taken to a local area hospital, and he has sustained several gunshot wounds.

One witness stated to the Orlando Police officers that he observed the victim walked over to a group of people at the 7-Eleven gas station, including the suspect, and he invited them to join a candlelight vigil that night for another friend who was murdered several nights before the shooting at the 7-eleven.

According to a witness, there wasn't an argument between the suspect and the victim prior to the shooting.

According to a witness, the suspect allegedly shot at the victim twice while the victim was sitting in the driver's seat of his motor vehicle. The witness stated that the suspect then fired another round at the victim as the victim exited his vehicle. The victim then fell face down on the pavement. A fourth shot was heard prior to the victim getting up. The victim then ran to the witness' motor vehicle and stated that he needed to be taken to a hospital.

Criminal investigators discovered four shell casings by the shooter's Ford Mustang that was parked at the 7-Eleven, and the officers found a gun on the driver's seat of the suspect's car.

Approximately one hour following the shooting, Orlando police said the victim tragically passed away from his gunshot wounds at the hospital.  There was no report of the suspect retaning a murder defense attorney.  No further details about the shooting incident was released to the public at this time.
