Titusville, FL (December 15, 2018) - Four juveniles in Titusville were arrested on theft charges on Friday, December 14th.  The Titusville Police Department announced the arrests, made in connection with several reports of packages being stolen from front porches in the area on Tuesday afternoon.

The juveniles ranged in age from 15 to 17.  All of them were charged with burglary of an unoccupied dwelling, dealing in stolen property and theft.

Officers say that this is not the only case of "porch pirates" in Brevard County.  In late November, a man from West Melbourne was also arrested after taking packages from a porch in the area.  Police have warned that packages left on doorsteps from online shopping orders present the most opportunistic target for thieves.
