Attorney Laura Wright is a former member of the U.S. Army where she was a military police officer. She went on to graduate from Indian River State College with a degree in Human Services. From there, she went on to the Florida Coastal School of Law. Upon graduation, Ms. Wright started the Law Offices of Laura Wright, where she handled Family and Criminal Defense matters. She knows that when you or your loved one is facing criminal charges, you must have a Criminal Defense attorney by your side from first appearance to your arraignment and in rare cases, to trial.
Florida statutes are very specific as to what it takes to commit a crime. Ms. Wright will be sure the prosecution proves each and every element of the crime with which you have been charged. Ms. Wright will negotiate with prosecutors, file any necessary motions, collect and analyze discovery, and most importantly, listen to what you want. Most cases are resolved with plea deals or dismissals. When a case does go to trial, Ms. Wright will aggressively fight for the best result.
